 Is Phoenix University Legitimate?

Phoenix University, also known as the University of Phoenix, is a legitimate and accredited institution of higher education in the United States. It is one of the largest private universities in the country, with campuses and online programs serving students nationwide.

The University of Phoenix has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission since 1978, and its accreditation was last reaffirmed in 2018. It is also a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools, which is one of the six regional accrediting agencies recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

However, like any institution, there are criticisms and controversies surrounding the University of Phoenix, including concerns about its graduation rates, student loan default rates, and marketing practices. It is important for prospective students to do their research and consider all factors before making a decision about attending any college or university.

For my part, as a WGU student, I don't have a ton of personal experience with Phoenix University as a whole, however I do have it with fully online colleges, and I will tell you that they will absolutely kick your arse, they are extremely difficult, and don't let the fact that they're online only fool you, they are accredited for a reason, they are tough and the studying volume and pace will break you, very much worth it in the end!
